At SpringStone Montessori School, we believe every child is capable, curious, and filled with potential. From our thoughtfully prepared classrooms to our caring, Montessori-trained educators, everything we do is designed to nurture the whole child, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically.

Parent Education Nights are to help our families to better understand our approach, connect with our team, and learn more about the philosophy that guides your child’s day-to-day experience. These virtual events are open to current families and caregivers who want to grow alongside their children.

This Month's Topic: Why We Say ‘Work’ Not ‘Play’ (And Why That Matters)

In Montessori education, language is intentional. While the word “play” is often used to describe young children’s activity, Montessori teachers use the word “work”-and for a very specific reason.

In this session, we’ll explore how the term “work” reflects the meaningful, focused efforts children engage in during the day, and why this distinction matters. You’ll learn how this language supports your child’s independence, concentration, and sense of purpose-and how you can reinforce those values at home.

Why Attend?

Whether you're new to SpringStone or have been with us for years, Parent Education Night is a valuable opportunity to:

• Deepen your understanding of Montessori education

• Connect with our educators and leadership team

• Ask questions in a supportive, thoughtful space

We’re excited to learn and grow together-and to support you in your parenting journey.
